In the wake of the world Polio Day, 2 April, which was established to commemorate the birth of Jonas Salk, who developed the vaccine against Poliomyelitis, the students of the St Joseph's Convent School took out an awareness march with their teachers to sensitise people about Polio. initiated the march with lending few strokes to the canvas drawing the portrait of Jonas Salk, which was further completed by the Art Teacher Mr Gurpreet Singh
