Paavni Bindal of class IV D participated in Bathinda district Chess Championship U9 Girls on 27 May 2023 and scored 3 points out of 5 rounds and made the school proud by securing 1st position. On 28 May 2023, she bagged 2nd position by scoring 2 points in 5 rounds. From 24 June 2023 to 25 June 2023 she participated in Punjab State U 19 Girls Chess Championship organised by District Sangrur and she was awarded with a certificate of participation.
